Analysis of a women's self-defense website

Analysis of     https://womenonguard.com/

I don't normally comment on website content as there are so many out there with different content and most of it is opinion, some good, some bad.
But anyone involved in the serious topic of self-defense should have some some discernment of what's out there.
I hope I don't come across too"  harsh or sound like an asshole but there is some really bad stuff.
You have to delve deep into some of the links to see their About Us, Safety Tips and Blog.
Their blog is...strange. Whole sections on Abortion, Marriage and divorce rates, breast cancer, and gun violence.
Although gun violence is an important topic to be discussed and has a huge repository of information, she selects to  highlight statics of gun deaths, suicides and shootings by cop with the final thoughts of "Gun violence remains a critical issue in the United States, with significant impacts on public health and safety. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention highlights alarming statistics, including high rates of fatal shootings, firearm deaths, and unintentional firearm injuries."
In that section of gun violence not ONE positive comment on defensive usage of a gun or the millions of defensive encounters where someone DIDN'T become a victim.
But onto the other areas that are disturbing.
The website sells self-defense implements - stun guns, tazers, pepper spray, pepper spray and knives.
It is the verbiage that undermines good self defense philosophy.
"a personal alarm is the perfect self-defense tool."  Perfect, for a very limited situation but that's not brought up.
"An attacker’s worst nightmare is attention," Really ?
"and these personal alarms can significantly enhance your safety and response time."
The worst part of those sections was the knives.
"...making them an ideal choice for personal protection." Ideal choice ?
"These self-defense knives are versatile and capable of performing various functions depending on the situation. Some can even be used for chopping herbs and cutting fruits in the kitchen too if the need arises! " Why would you suggest they're good for chopping herbs and fruits ?
"Carrying them while jogging, walking your dog, or on a date can ease your nerves and boost your confidence. They are crafted to be your reliable companion whenever you need extra assistance or security"   It can ease your nerves and boost your confidence? That's what's important ?
Carrying or using a knife is a serious consideration and requires a deep commitment to implementing that tool for self-defense.  This offers a simplistic solution.
